Terms and Conditions of Sale
Last updated: August 18, 20261. Scope and seller
These Terms and Conditions govern distance sales concluded through canilume.fr between CANILUME LLC, whose details appear in the Legal Notice, and consumers whose orders are delivered in France.
2. Products
The product page describes the essential characteristics, dimensions, colours, prices and availability of each product. Photographs are prepared with care but cannot guarantee an identical colour rendering on every screen.
3. Prices and orders
Prices are displayed in euros. The total amount payable, any delivery charges and any discounts are shown before final confirmation. An order becomes binding once payment has been approved and an order confirmation has been sent.
4. Payment
Payment is due when the order is placed, using the payment methods offered at checkout. CANILUME does not receive the complete bank-card number when payment is processed by a secure payment provider.
5. Delivery
Tracked delivery in France is estimated at 7 to 12 calendar days from order confirmation. This estimate may vary due to circumstances beyond CANILUME’s control. The applicable date or delivery period is communicated before the customer confirms the order. Unless a shorter period is stated, delivery will take place no later than 30 calendar days after the order. Further information appears in the Shipping Policy.
6. Right of withdrawal
The customer has 14 days from the day after receiving the goods to notify CANILUME of the decision to withdraw, without giving a reason. Notification may be sent to contact@canilume.fr through an unambiguous statement or through the online form below. No prior authorisation from CANILUME is required. The customer then has 14 days to return the product. When the return is due to a change of mind, the customer bears the direct cost of international return shipping to China. A tracked service should be used and proof of postage retained.
Model withdrawal notice
To CANILUME LLC — contact@canilume.fr: I hereby notify you of my withdrawal from the contract relating to the following goods: [product], ordered on [date] and received on [date]. Name, address, order number, date and signature if submitted on paper.
7. Refunds
CANILUME will refund all amounts due, including the initial standard delivery charge, no later than 14 days after receiving the withdrawal notice. CANILUME may withhold the refund until the goods are recovered or the customer provides evidence that they have been sent back. Any loss in value caused by handling beyond what is necessary to inspect the product may be deducted.
8. Statutory warranties
Independently of any commercial warranty, consumers benefit from the French statutory warranty of conformity under Articles L. 217-3 et seq. of the French Consumer Code and the warranty against hidden defects under Articles 1641 et seq. of the French Civil Code.
For new goods, consumers have two years from delivery to invoke the statutory warranty of conformity. They may obtain repair or replacement in accordance with the applicable legal conditions and, where these remedies are impossible, delayed or disproportionate, a price reduction or termination of the contract. Bringing the goods into conformity is free of charge.
For a defective, damaged or non-conforming product, the customer must contact CANILUME with the order number and relevant supporting information. CANILUME bears the cost of the applicable statutory remedy and any necessary return costs. Under the warranty against hidden defects, the consumer may, subject to the statutory conditions, return the product for a refund or keep it in exchange for a price reduction.
9. Customer service and amicable resolution
Any complaint must first be sent to contact@canilume.fr so that an amicable solution can be sought. Customer service may also be contacted at +33 7 58 22 68 45.
10. Applicable law
These Terms are subject to the mandatory consumer-protection rules applicable in France. Consumers may bring proceedings before the competent courts in accordance with the applicable procedural rules.
